                                                     God's Crayon Box
Red, brown and peach colored crayons
making war over nothing
Brown can't mix with peach, you say.
''I know dad,'' I've heard this all before.
  Scowling faces, cradled in hate.
  Guns and fistfights,
 leaving crayons broken everyday.
  Can all the peach
 and brown hued crayons
weep for their sons
 and daughters
 or moms and dads
together, maybe? Some day?
Yes? No.
Not likely.
Maybe.

If you like my poetry, then you'll love my YA novelette about a boy named Edgar who sleeps in a coffin and just doesn't fit in at his Elementary School!
